COVID Restrictions for Campus Visitors
The COVID Task Force at Missouri Southern State University has issued updated procedures for visitors/guests to campus. This protocol is in effect until further notice, and may be updated further as necessary.
In order to promote the safety of our community, access to campus is restricted to students, employees and essential or approved visitors/guests. A visitor/guest is defined as any individual coming to campus who is not a Missouri Southern employee or current student.
Essential visitors/guests may include the following: Contractors, vendors, media and other essential or approved partners.
This includes those making deliveries to campus; Physical Plant contractors; academic, Student Affairs and other guest speakers; donors visiting campus; and Board of Governors members attending meetings. If in doubt, contact the appropriate Vice President for clarification.
Admissions visitors (including Athletics recruitment)
The Admissions Department is conducting modified on-campus visits. Prospective students and their families are welcome on campus, and must check in with Admissions or the appropriate athletic office upon arrival to campus.
All other visitors
All guests not included in the above categories are nonessential or unapproved visitors and should not be on campus unless prior approval is given. The registration of any third-party and external events has been suspended until further notice.
Rare exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and should be directed to the appropriate vice president for President’s Cabinet approval.
Health and wellness protocols for visitors
In this time of COVID-19, we are taking special measures to help protect the health of visitors to our campus as well as members of our campus community. We appreciate your compliance with these measures. Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing protocols followed.
